The Private Password Manager

Everything you need to secure your digital identity, without compromising privacy.

AES-256-GCM Encryption

Military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption protects every password. Your master key is derived using bcrypt with 12 rounds. Nothing leaves your device unencrypted.

TOTP Authenticator

Built-in two-factor authentication. Manage TOTP codes for all your accounts right inside your password vault. No separate authenticator app needed.

Biometric Unlock

Unlock your vault with Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello. Fast, secure access without typing your master password every time.

Password Generator

Generate strong, unique passwords with customizable length, character sets, and complexity. Never reuse a password again.

Cross-Device Sync

Your encrypted vault syncs across all devices automatically. Access your passwords on Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, or Android.

Import & Export

Import passwords from Chrome, Firefox, LastPass, 1Password, Bitwarden, and CSV. Export your vault anytime — your data is always yours.

Security Architecture

Built from the ground up for zero-knowledge privacy.

Zero-Knowledge Design

Your master password never leaves your device. We derive your encryption key locally using bcrypt (12 rounds). The server only stores encrypted blobs.

AES-256-GCM

Each credential is encrypted individually with AES-256-GCM, providing both confidentiality and authenticity. Tampered data is automatically detected and rejected.

TLS 1.3 Transport

All connections to our servers use TLS 1.3 with perfect forward secrecy. Your encrypted data travels through an additional layer of transport encryption.

OS Keychain Integration

On macOS, credentials are stored in the system Keychain. On Windows, the Credential Manager. On Linux, the Secret Service API. Hardware-backed security.

No Tracking. No Analytics.

ShadowPasswords contains no tracking scripts, no analytics, no telemetry. We don't know how many passwords you have, what sites you use, or anything about you.

Crypto Payments

Pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, or other cryptocurrencies. No credit card, no name, no address required. True anonymous access.
